Abstract: Waste management is more relevant than ever, and producing renewable energies while limiting green- house gases are part of the environmental challenges of humanity. It is imperative to consider optimized systems for integrated and sustainable waste management, to meet environmental, economic and social needs. This involves, on the one hand, minimizing the landfill rate over the medium and long term, as well as the harmful effects of greenhouse gas emissions, and, on the other hand, optimizing energy yields while respecting the constraints of treatment costs.
