Abstract: We suggest a nonlinear mathematical model to study the behavior of corruption in a society. The model is proved both epidemiologically and mathematically well-posed. We proved that all solutions of the model are positive, the corruption-free and endemic equilibrium are obtained and the condition for the stability of the corruption-free equilibrium state was determined, the local stability analysis of the mathematical model of corruption was done, and the corruption reproduction ratio R_0 is computed using the next-generation matrix method [1].
