Abstract: The distance between two n-tournaments T and T’ is the number d(T, T’) of pairs {i, j} from {1, ..., n} for which the arc between i and j has not the same direction in T and in T´. We define the spectral distance λ(T, T’) between tournaments as an Euclidean distance between the spectrum of T and that of T’. In this communication we are interested particularly in the spectral distance between a tournament and a transitive tournament.
