Abstract: Bat algorithm is a new population-based optimization method, that belong to the swarm intelligence class of metaheuristics. It was proposed by Yang [1] in 2010, and since its introduction, it has been used in several works for solving continuous and discrete problems, due to its simple implementation and powerful performance.
