Global stability of SIR epidemic model with vaccination and treatment

Abstract: In this communication, we propose a susceptible-infected-recovred epidemic model with generalized incidence rates, distributed delay , vaccination and treatment. The wellposedness of the suggested model is established in terms of existence, positivity and boundedness of solutions. By constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals, the global asymptotic stability of the disease-free and endemic equilibrium are established depending on the basic reproduction number R_0.
