Abstract: Sales forecasting is an essential tool for managing a Marketplace. Its importance is reflected in the fact that it can help suppliers to analyze products or services appreciated by customers in order to increase profits and to reduce costs and returns of products. This article compares SARIMA of BoxJenkins models to the LSTM model of recurrent neural networks to predict sales of a product category.
