Abstract: The Internet of Things (IoT) encompasses the entire ecosystem of connected objects, sensor manufacturers, software publishers,.. etc. With the wide use of this technology, the security of messages transmitted between users is becoming a major concern. We propose a symmetric key cryptosystem which derives its keys by the application of huffman coding on DNA sequences, which are generally human chromosomes.
