Abstract: A central theme in the marketing of a product is to define a pricing policy that can lead to a market balance. This price dynamic has motivated the development of several mathematical models. The most adapted models to monopol market were introduced by Bass and by Robinson & Lakhani[1,2],[3]. In this work, we obtain an optimal pricing strategy for the Robinson & Lakhani model [3] by applying necessary optimality conditions. A numerical analysis using Apple's published data, confirms the theoretical result and validates the model.
