Hopfian Abelian groups in in the category of algebraically compact abelian group

Abstract: An abelian group A is called hopfian if for every epimorphism α of A is an automorphism. In this work we determine some properties of the hopfian abelian group. Then we charterize a hopfian abelian group in the category of algebraically compact abelian group.
