Abstract: One of the most important sources of gas emissions is solid waste landfills. As part of the production of renewable energy and the minimization of greenhouse gas emissions, we are interested in this work in biogas produced by the process of decomposition of organic matter under anaerobic conditions in a controlled landfill. We present a mathematical model of anaerobic digestion with acidogenic and methanogenic biomasses.
