Abstract: In this paper, we present a new class of central unstaggered finite volume methods for approximating solutions of nonlocal conservation laws. The proposed method is an extension of the non-oscillatory central scheme of Nessyahu and Tadmor (NT). In contrast to the NT scheme, the method we develop evolves the numerical solution on a single grid but implicitly uses ghost cells to avoid the resolution of the Riemann problems at the cell interfaces.
