Abstract: During the past few decades, problems involving the fractional Laplacian are extensively studied in the literature. In the full space ℝN, there are several equivalent definitions of the Fractional Laplacian. However, different fractional Laplacians can be defined on a bounded open subset Ω ≠ ℝN. In this talk, we present some properties of the fractional Laplacians, and compare the definitions of these operators and their probabilistic interpretations.
