Abstract: This work deals with the numerical solution of a nonlinear degenerated model arising from the mathematical modeling of reactive transport in porous media, including equilibrium sorption. The model is a simplified, yet representative, version of multicomponents reactive transport models. Our approach is based on the Nonlinear Two Point Flux Approximation (NTPFA) for the diffusion term, and an upwinding scheme to handle advective term.
