Abstract: Cubic spline collocation method based on quasi-interpolant is used to approximate solutions of second-order boundary value problems. We describe super-convergent quasi-interpolant of degree three and we give the associated spline collocation method for such problems which provides a very interesting accurate approximation. The proposed method allows to approximate the solution as well as its first and second derivatives at different values of xi, i=0,…,n, with an optimal order of convergence.
